Now these are right up my wildlife alley. How wonderful are these. The succession. Peek-a-boo in the snow. Did you hear that Dale? Mother Nature is applauding. Truly beautiful!!! 🙂
Thank you, Susannah!
When the fawn kept playing peek-a-boo with me I knew they had to be shared here…the one I used as the cover shot was taken with my cell and is less sharp. I was glad as I got closer, I was able to use my camera.
So happy you enjoyed! 😊
Bambi was a male. Not everyone knows that. I didn’t when I was first introduced. No matter. There’s nothing quite as beautiful in my opinion, as a deer…he or she.
Thank you, Frank. Last time I went to this park – which is basically a few islands situated half-way between my town and Montreal, I saw a whole lotta nuthin’. This time? They were everywhere! This little fella slowly came up a small cliff (his mother and siblings were on the ice on the river). The cover shot was with my phone (why it’s not so nice and clear) but I was lucky to be able to take out my camera and zoom away. 🙂 Glad you liked!
These are astounding captures. Yes, I went with superlatives and it’s entirely your fault because dayum! if these didn’t just scoop nature out of its winter respite and deliver it to the page of WP just like that. And umm . . I counted five snapshots, not four. What did I miss because I know I done missed something.
First off, I thank you. I knew when I snapped these babies they were gonna be showcased right here.
And secondly, it’s the way your blog is set up. See, with mine, when I set up a featured image, that image is what you see on the Reader or on the FB or Twitter share. And then you don’t see it when you go into the post… So… You get 5. Let’s call it a bonus!
They did. And I had to do this little mini “story” so to speak..
No worries. I know of what I speak and I knew that it might cause some confusion but hey. Call it a bonus and run with it… or stroll. I just love that you call my skills mad.

You should print it up, as a little series. It’s the sweetest…and you can call it…peek a boo. So sweet.

I just might, at that. He (I dunno why I am saying he… blame Bambi, maybe?… was just so adorable and fuzzy. And I would definitely title it that!

I always thought he was. Mind you, I don’t know when I figured that out 🙂 And right; no matter, they are beautiful creatures.

PS Make them up for those closest to you. What a nice gift it would make. You can sign the mat and date it. I can see it.

These are just perfect. I mean, when I saw them I knew they’d end up here. They HAD to end up here.
I have no blessed idea, but hey, Imma take the bonus and run! Or look, yeah . . maybe no running involved. I’ll just enjoy your mad skills.
