It looks like a lovely spot to sit back with a good book, until think of the little blood suckers in tiny mosquito bodies that will abide there in the millions! Beautiful to look at I’m not sure about visiting.
It is, isn’t it? And we had a surprising summer. The skeeters were not quite so abundant. And this one was taken on Sunday and it was a gorgeous day. Fairly chilly, which doesn’t show thanks to the light 🙂
The colors of wheat…reminds me of the line in the Bible, separating the wheat from the chaff. Always liked that. Another Maxfield Parrish ala Dale. Really beautiful. 🙂
This is a painting, right? I mean . . you’re supposed to bring us a capture every Wednesday and okay, maybe you figured you could sneak a painting into the equation since it ain’t exactly against the rules . . . but yanno. I wanted a photograph because I’m spoiled like that. And this . . this cannot be a photograph.
It could be, couldn’t it? I mean… if’n I had that particular talent (if not to paint, then to steal… or inherit, or somerhing). But no, as you well know. They are both photographs.
