Looks as if he was ready for his close-up. I love how he’s coasting on a leaf clearly the captain of his own ship. Was that leaf incidental? Talk about recycling what’s handy.
I always smile at your animal portraits, Omelette in the lead. This little guy might be headed to Hollywood Dale. You just never know. 🙂
He/She? Is sitting on his/her tail! It was such a thrill to find this beaver in the man-made lake across the street from where I work. How did it get there? I took a video (these are mostly stills from that) as it groomed. Was hypnotizing to watch.
Glad you enjoyed. I didn’t want to do yet another snow picture (though it snowed all friggen day yesterday and I just read it is far from over… Gonna have to get creative)
It always looks as if they’re surfing, doesn’t it?
And uh . . . it looks like you’re close but you were probably sitting at home in your chair and snapped this shot, knowing you. You’re like a sniper with the shudder, snap! Snap! Snap! Only nobody dies. And the captures are fantastic.
I actually think she (he?) was floating on her (his?) tail… there might have been a layer of ice beneath,
And uh. No. Don’t even! I was right THERE. She was right beside this patio thingy by the manmade lake. But yeah. Snap, film, snap, film, snap, snap, snap… 😉 So thank you!
And I still say you could have played the role of sniper and capture this beaver from the sixth floor of the book depository. In Montreal . . Not the one in Dallas. Location and all that . . . history too.
