Yesterday morning!! Which is why I used this and not my original plan 😉 I had originally put the one I wanted plus these but decided the snow could have it’s own post. 5 inches of the stuff fell. It should be gone before I get home from work. 🤞
Best it not stick when the calendar has April at the top! This snow seems to have swept across my country. Friends in Ontario all the way to Alberta got hit!
Yippers. Again! But it’s almost all gone – the only good thing with late snow is that it doesn’t stick around!
We have twice our normal rainfall in March I was just told …
Mid April… 🙄 Beautiful nevertheless! 🤗

What a sight to wake up to! Glad you enjoyed. It should all be gone by end of day! 😊

That splash of red, if one looks quickly, looks like a cardinal.
There is something so beautiful about snow, even if it should be in Miami by the pool.
Reminds me of being a kid, looking forward to it since, it meant a promised sleigh ride with Dad and hot chocolate on the way home.
Evocative as always. 🙂

It definitely pops! I like you can say cardinal 🙂
It’s rare that the late snowfalls are not pretty, don’t you think? Even if we are so done with it, we are ready to take a plane and get away from it!
As kids, we have a totally different view of snow. And a good thing.
Love that I evoked a lovely memory in you!

Definitely shows the transition of one season to another. Cool splash of red. How long ago was this taken?

That’s a lot of snow – but a good thing when they come and go. Winter sticking around has given us an unusual spring.

The big fluffy flakes were quite beautiful in the morning. Then some rain was added. It’s like a last hurrah (please be last!!)

I’m thinking a last hurrah … the stuff that passed through her the other day didn’t have the big fluffy flakes. … 😦 … but didn’t stick … 🙂

I love the red against the snow. Makes the snow seem more important somehow.

Oh no…not again? Hopefully it’ll melt quickly. I’m actually quite jealous-we’ve had zero, zilch moisture this month.

Yes, that’s the best part of spring storms. It’s so dry here even the ground is crunchy.

That sucks. I know you need way more than you get.

Ah snow!
It’s beautiful to look at . . and it’s . . . beautiful to look at.
Go spring!

Yanno…. really pretty – especially now that it was then 😉
Yeah. I’m all for getting away from it and finding myself a beach… to get that spring to summer thing kick-started 😉

Yeah more so now. With some room to breathe and the snow getting smaller and smaller in the rearview, you finally have time to appreciate the stuff.
That’s the ticket.
