I’m cheating (well, to me I am) as I used the photo below on my own post on Sunday but felt like showing it here with some tweaks. The “almost” monotone and the “super” saturated. Preferences? Please let me know. As well, the top or featured photo is another taken on my walk.

I’m glad you ‘cheated’! I love them all with a slight preference to the top and monochrome. Mouwah! ❤️😘

When I shared that solo log on my blog, I kept thinking, this will be nice in black and white… then as I was playing with it, I thought no… just a little bit looks even nicer. So glad you like! Mouwah! 💞😘

I like them both. The second one’s flowers remind me of confectionary sugar. My first thought, and you are a cook after all.
I like that you honored nature that was intruded upon..a storm? Did someone cut the tree down and that was all that was left?
If it could only talk.
You always hit a grand slam, no matter what catches your eye. 🙂

Glad I provided both 🙂 And they do!
This park will leave trees to fall where they may – or will cut down those that are going to fall and they leave them. When they have to cut trees for whatever reason, they always leave very tall stumps for the many woodpeckers.
If only they could talk, for sure.
And I thank you, Susannah!

Both are about the season, but my preference is the monotone. Happy Wednesday.

Dear Dale,
All the photos are lovely…but why wouldn’t they be? I do prefer the nearly monchrome one. It has a tin-type flavor about it. Cheat? There is no cheat, there is only post. 😉
Shalom and lotsa colourful hugs,
Rochelle

Dear Rochelle,
I thank you. I think it was a great idea to make the original more monochrome, it is the big winner (in my book, too). I preferred that over black and white that I didn’t bother to share because, I wasn’t in love with it.
Shalom and lotsa artistic love,
Dale

I like both for different reasons. The monochrome is very dramatic. The saturated is very warm and inviting. Good job, Dale.

I like them both! And whichever one I’m concentrating on is my favourite. I love the fact that they leave the trees where they fall because they nourish so much what is around them.

What a great answer! Yes, this park is very much all about the wildlife and preservation in its most natural state.

Can’t choose just one, Dale. “Sorry”…but they all have unique appeal. Well done.

That, my dear Bruce, is a wonderful answer! Thank you!

The top one is my favorite of all.
Of the two lower photographs, I kinda dig the black and white one. The lowest one has a ’70’s vibe to it I think.
Cheat away, 😉

B,
I’m very glad I chose that one for the top or main. The others were me playing and experimenting. Always fun to get everyone’s reactions.
I will 😉

Yeah, looking at it again, it has a definite ’70’s vibe to it. The top is still my top selection but I do enjoy black and white photos as well.

It does. I love that you saw that, truly. It’s not quite black and white. I removed most of the colour. I didn’t love it in black and white, for some reason. And there is some fabulous art out there in B&W, that is for shizzle.

And most of the color too. But yes, it does appear as black and white unless you really look closely.
Love the black and white stuff.

Me too. I don’t do it enough. Gotta try more often, methinks!

Wood always provides the best textures and deserves extra coverage. 😉 Lovely (as always, Dale).
