It’s as if seasons are merging…the ice covering the green. Reminds me of that kid’s game when you show a picture and ask…what do you see? Can you find the hidden bird?
Photographs are meant to stir the imagination so, you’ve clearly done that, once again. 🙂
Oh, I like that! The rhododendrons stay green all winter – one of those weird/cool things. I went out for a 2-hour walk and ended up using what was in my front yard. Isn’t that just the way of things?
And just like that, Wednesday takes on a Friday vibe!
This one speaks to how nature’s skill set works its magic. If Mo Nature was an artist, the works she produces would be pricier than Van Gogh in a seller’s market! Forget the Louvre, that’d be slumming it.
Truly magical piece of nature here. Brought to us by the gal with an uber impressive skill set of her own.
I love that this was all in my front yard. (And to think I took a 2-hour walk in search…) And Mo Nature has some serious gifts and I thank her for sharing them with my lens.
I thank you, kind sir. You are, as always, so very generous.
I shall say you’re welcome but really, thank you for this space!
They are. I’m actually pretty certain these were caused by melting icicles from my roof. I just don’t get how they could be sideways like that one pic.
Thank you and good morning and happy Wednesday to you!
It is, isn’t it? How the hell did those icicles form sideways? Glad you enjoyed. And to think I took a two-hour walk only to use images from my front yard…
This is true. It’s been rather mild which is why there are so many icicles. I had to break a bunch that were over my door as they made me nervous. The others are too high. It is surely their drip, drip that formed the sideways icicles but still so very cool. And thank you!

Much better than that.

Dear Dale,
There’s no greater artist than the Creator of all. Everything else is a pale imitation. Great snaps as always. Magical.

Dear Rochelle,
Mother Nature, The Universe, whatever you want to call her… is a fantabulous artist beyond compare. All I can do is try to capture some of it.
Shalom and lotsa what was that? Oh, I have to wait for the next comment to get the whole spiel? 😉 Lemme start over.
Shalom and lotsa love and appreciation for your kind words,
Dale

Bwahahaha. Isn’t that always the case in snowy/cold weather. Nonetheless, it’s a terrific capture v

I thought so, too. Definitely of an alien species to be frozen on the side, like that? Something bizarre going on…. 😉

The branch was upright until the weight of the ice took it down to the left is all I can figure. Terrific shot though

It rained, then immediately the temperature dropped below freezing.
Pretty, prettier, prettiest is what you got. It’s a ballet of ice over green. ⚡️💥

It was possibly that, or warmth that melted the icicles above. As long as you enjoy, then I am pleased 🙂 🧚♀️🌟
