Thank you. I was so thrilled. It’s the first time I even see an owl, never mind able to capture it. Little fellow (one of the smallest owls) was just taking a nap allowing all these weird paparazzi come in and snap away.
This is a primo get! I mean, I’ve seen a handful of owls in my entire life, and I lived bordering an Amish farm for years, where owls always hang out in the barns because it’s like the perfect residence for them!
This owl reminds me of an ornery judge presiding over his court. Not in the best of moods, so nobody is gonna mess with him.
Well, you made the absolute best of this capture, so mebe the owl will tell his friends there’s a professional photographer making the rounds. “She’ll make you famous!” . . .
Isn’t he gorgeous? This type of owl is one of the smallest and was just sitting there trying to snooze while we, the paperazzi were clicking away.
My very first owl that I see and capture. I was so thrilled.
What a hoot, Dale. Seriously great picture.
Shalom and lotsa fine-feathered hugs,
Rochelle

It’s he the cutest? One of the smallest of the owls. Trying to nap while all of us crazy photographers were clicking away.
Good morning, Frank.

What a beautiful shot, Dale! Perfect, just perfect. Sleeping in the sun. I’ve never seen one but I hear them all the time.

B,
Right? My very first sighting! And yeah, I would imagine living near a barn helps with sightings. I’m hoping this is just a first of more to come.
Well, the poor little fella was trying to take a nap in the sun while all the paperazzi clicked away. He has a right to feel ornery, I say!
Grazie!

I have a feeling ornery is his usual mood.

Thank you kindly. Apparently there are other owls there to be found. Maybe I’ll get lucky. As for the professional thing? Go on..
You may just be right…

So you have found their community. Maybe you can make an owl book.
The professional thing . . it’s a thing. 🙂

Well no. But have heard tell there are three different “varieties” somewhere.
It is? Right.
More often than not. 😁

I’m an owl person…they’re all over my house. So, I’m really loving this week’s photo. Nice that Mr. Imma is playing DJ. 🙂
