That is a magical splash of amber in the first shot. I say buttah all the time but in this instance, the sun is doing its most delicious imitation for real. And if I want to get really creative, it looks as if the sun is snowing upwards, to filter light into that street lamp. But that’s the work of some fiction whereas your real time brilliance . . . wait for it . . . shines through once again.
The second shot is what I love in my artwork, because it’s asymmetrical with lots of moving parts. The trees a perfectly placed bit of comfort as the sky gives us a show.
I am so glad you like it. I chose it over the focused one because I found it way more interesting. I tried to make that sun all the more… MORE and so I am glad it got this reaction from you.
Yay! I had the whole trunk of the tree originally and then cut it partially out. I like it better a little wonky. Glad you do, too.
Focused would have been predictable and you are not that, in any way. So yes, I would have expected that you would ditch the highway and find the side roads, 😉
WOW!!! That light is amazing. Again, like a painting. So Maxfield Parrish. I know I mention him a lot, but please take it as a high compliment. You have that same ability to make it like a trompe l’oeil, as if one could touch it and feel its layers. 🙂
Thank you for the WOW!! I had the non-blurry version but felt it was just ordinary. I played with this one to give it even more oomph so I am glad you like. Oh, I take the compliment!!
She has a sweet site. Very spare, very simple. I thought linking Jimi’s quote with those colors of yours was so apt. The rare time I’m linked by someone is always humbling. Nice of them.
She has 3 cats…Jack, Teddy and Sophie. She writes about them a lot. She has the art of spare writing to a T. It’s why I read her. She reminds me to prune my prose, a skill I don’t possess naturally.
I am sitting on a porch in a cottage in northern Ontario watching the sun come up. There’s a slight chill in the air and I wrap my sweater a little closer around me. I sit back watching the steam rise from my cup of tea. There is no sound but the lapping of water as it caresses the beach gently. A single cry from a bird breaks the silence and I can once again hear the world encroaching on my peace.
I can’t believe I forgot your Wordless Wednesday this morning. Shame on me. Beautiful colours in the skies. I love the blurred streetlight best. It has a golden feeling to it.

Wonky . . . again, much more interesting.

Exackery. And I would hate to be 😉 Love that you say that, considering I was up on an overpass crossing a highway! LOL
Way more. As long as you and your peeps think so, I’ll keep on keeping on.
Yay!!!

The sky may be nature’s best canvas. Good morning, and have a wonderful Wednesday.

You have given me the perfect visual. Is there a chair beside you? May I join? I do understand if you want to be alone…

Dear Rochelle,
I know, I know. I haven’t played FF. Yet. No shame, no shame. You came! And thank you. I loved the blurred effect (the non-blurred was okay but meh…)
Shalom and lotsa glowy love!
