Thank you, Susannah. How serendipitous that we finally got a decent snowfall (even if it meant shovelling the heavy stuff) for the Christmas version of WW. I love how they did, too.
Snow’s so pretty when one’s inside and looking at it through the window. π No one captures it quite like you do. The one with the ornaments is the perfect Christmas card. π
That it is. It can also be lovely as you walk along a path in non-freezing temps. I thank you for your lovely words. And yes, it would, wouldn’t it? Hint, hint, nudge, nudge?
You captured the beauty, but I’m happy that my outside doesn’t look like that. Then again, we have an “old shit” weather coming tomorrow night … but that will include snow, high winds, and bitter cold. Hunker down time. Merry Christmas to you!
Thank you, Frank. I don’t mind it so much. Makes everything brighter (even if, starting today, the days get longer…) Of course they are calling for “oh shit” weather starting Friday night and going all weekend with the same as you’ve described… You know, to bugger up Christmas plans…
That said: Merry Christmas to you and the Missus!
Beautiful snow shots, Dale. Each one of them has its own unique charm. As for that top photo, I do so enjoy a heavy, wet snow…once the roads are cleared like this one is!
Thank you, Bruce. So glad you found the charm in each (I always hope for that). It’s so rare, but the trees are STILL looking like that all these days later! Usually, it falls off and melts but not this time. The temps have been perfect – so not what is expected coming Friday, though … Yikes!
The snow isn’t so bad but the windchill factor (it was -25F this morning) sure is. Awk. Today’s high ‘may’ be 2F, perhaps 4F tomorrow. Should reach freezing by Saturday. π€πΌ Stay warm, friend.
Those first two captures make me think that Robert Frost and Ansel Adams met up in a cafe and you held conference with them over cafe con leche, piping hot, before getting to work on their suggestions. Just beautiful.
Cool! winky dinky… π π
So, I’m not big on herbs, spices… ya know, seasonings. (I get gassy)
However, I’m able to digest your offerings.
Love ya! β‘οΈπ₯
Oddly, not bland at all. My taste buds are acute and I taste everything for what it is. I rarely use salt, I do make a veg gravy with soy sauce. Umm, I use black pepper , OH I love chilli peppers!!!
I love rosemary in farinata, but again…windy… Bit o’ basil I can digest… and a tad of oregano. That’s it!!!!
I use lemon and/or lime sometimes. xoxoxo
Oh, I love the tranquility of snow. Brilliant shots chère CNL and those red balls are the smile in tranquility!

It was such a beautiful (but heavy and sticky) snowfall The best kind, actually as it is still lovely days later. Thank you. So glad you enjoy!

Very beautiful Dale, one outdoing the other. Love the red ornaments and must applaud the efforts of whoever hung them. π

Oh that is nasty!! We are supposed to be headed for a “bomb cyclone” – doesn’t that sound comforting?
